Owen Ó Súilleabháin

Owen Ó Súilleabháin is an Irish singer, composer, and leadership guide whose work explores the transformative power of voice, poetry, and presence. With a background in philosophy and a Master’s in Peace and Development Studies, he brings a soulful and embodied approach to leadership, supporting individuals and organizations in navigating transition, clarifying purpose, and reimagining their creative path.

Owen is co-founder of Turas d’Anam, which offers immersive cultural journeys that experience the soul of Ireland; founder of the Inner Soul Circle, a virtual, creative community exploring the wisdom of the Celtic calendar through song, story, and seasonal ritual; and founder of Hibernian Horizon, a study abroad program that inspires students and faculty through connection with Ireland’s cultural heritage through music, dance, and creative writing.

For over fifteen years, Owen has worked closely with poet David Whyte, apprenticing to his body of work and performing alongside him across the United States and around the world. Through this deep collaboration, Owen has experienced firsthand the capacity of the arts to inspire personal transformation, renew organizational culture, and awaken a deeper conversation between soul, self and society.

Now making his home on the Great Niagara Frontier of Western New York with his wife Andrea and their son Finn, Owen is honored to serve on the faculty of Invitas: The Institute for Conversational Leadership, where he continues to explore the mystery of conversation as a sacred and generative art.
