Carol Wishcamper
Carol brings several decades of leadership experience in the education and non-profit sectors to her organizational development consulting practice. She recently Co-Chaired the Maine Wabanaki- State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission, designed to promote inter-generational and intercultural healing. She has held leadership positions on the Maine State Board of Education and the Maine Chapter of the Nature Conservancy as well as board service on numerous boards, including the College of the Atlantic and Waynflete School. She is currently a trustee of the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation.
In her consulting practice, she works with a full spectrum of public and non-profit organizations from small start-ups to well-established community institutions that provide a wide-range of community benefits. She also works with private sector businesses interested in enhancing the workplace and drawing out the best in their employees.
She offers consulting services in leadership development, system dynamics, interpersonal relations, group development, executive coaching, strategy formulation and planning, adaptation to change, as well as skill development in dealing with conflict, decision-making, communication and listening.
Carol has extensive training in Gestalt theory and methodology, Integral theory, Spiral Dynamics, Complex Adaptive Systems, as well as meditative and embodied practices. As a member of the Dream Partners, a collaborative learning group, she served as a faculty member of their signature Integral Leadership Program. She has also been a member of the faculty at the Ithaca Institute.
