Join us for an uplifting celebration of community and joy at the PRIDE Community Picnic, featuring the lively tunes of the Mutiny Bay Brass Band. In partnership with South Whidbey Pride, we aim to celebrate the South Whidbey LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. South Whidbey Pride envisions a community where all members live safely and openly as their authentic selves.
Our friends from Regenerate Whidbey will also join us to share exciting details about the upcoming Compassion Games. This community engagement experience invites people worldwide to inspire one another to reveal and promote acts of compassion that better our lives, our communities, and all life on Earth.
Carpooling
We strongly encourage carpooling! Invite your friends, share a ride, and help us make this event environmentally friendly. Parking may be tight, so if you are able, please expect to walk less than half a mile on the trail to our heartland campus from our outer parking lot, saving the closer parking options for those who need them. Signs and directions will be provided upon arrival. For a reserved space closer to the event, please contact Madisun at madisun@whidbeyinstitute.org.
Musical Delight
Celebrate with Mutiny Bay Brass Band, Whidbey’s premier community HONK! band. They will fill the air with charming covers and world music, sure to delight your heart and mind. Kid’s percussion instruments will be available for all ages to play and experiment with sounds.
