Joy and Resistance, Women Holding the Weight of Peace with Mary Elizabeth Himes

Join Whidbey Institute’s Poet Laureate, Mary Elizabeth Himes, in a day-long expressive arts workshop: Joy and Resistance, Women Holding the Weight of Peace.

This workshop will explore expressive writing through emotional connection of self.

Participants will nurture their emotional communication in both written and verbal forms to increase a sense of self-awareness and a release of tension in the mind, body and spirit.

There will be writing alone time and sharing with others time.

The day will include an introduction into 100 Days of Gentle Accountability by NaKeesa Frazier-Jennings.

Workshop fees include the Gentle Accountability journal, lunch, and fees.
