Hosted by Whidbey Institute Forest Steward Larry Rohan

9:15am – 10:45am

Join forest steward Larry Rohan, longtime resident of the Maxwelton watershed, on a forest meditation walk through the forest of the Whidbey Institute.

This morning’s gathering will be a walking meditation, using the  breath and other senses to connect with  and remember our relationship to the natural world.

Please leave your dogs and other pets at home.

We will begin the walk from the lower parking lot.

We will proceed at a comfortable pace, and through a series of guided invitations, engage our senses to assist the body in remembering the deep connection we have with all life on this planet.

The entire walk is expected to take about 90 minutes and is about one mile. We will end back at the lower lot.

RSVP to help us track our guest count and receive detailed arrival instructions.

Directions

After turning onto Old Pietila Road, drive approximately one quarter mile to the lot at the bottom of the hill.

Maximum 10 people for this summer walk – so RSVP asap!
