Workshop: Wildfire Resilience for Home Landscapes

Saturday, April 26th at 10am — Join forester Collin McAvinchey on an exploration of how to develop fire-resilient landscapes around your home. Learn principles of fire-resistant plant selection, spacing, and maintenance while diving into steps you can take today to protect your home from wildfire. We’ll discuss the history and role of fire on Whidbey Island and in western Washington and steps being taken in our communities and statewide to enhance wildfire resilience.
This is a free event — RSVPs are required, and space is limited to 30 guests.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Carpooling is encouraged, but please leave your pets at home.
